2. I'm The Man Who Loves You (Wilco)
3. Good For The Gander (Hot Chocolate)
4. Soul Powder (James Brown)

6. Two Hearts in 3-4 Time (The Avalanches)
7. Breaking Glass (David Bowie)
8. From The Nursery (Wire)
9. Close To Me (closer mix) (The Cure)

Today is my sister's birthday. I selected a few songs that we listened to when we were growing up. She was always into cool, new music, and naturally I listened to whatever she listened to.

These songs bring back memories of our house in Towaco, NJ and our 6th floor apartment on Chung-Cheng Road (Taipei, Taiwan.) Most of the songs on this mix were her favorite songs, which also became my favorite songs too. Then she went off to college and left me to discover new music on my own (yikes.) So I am thankful for my cool, older sister for starting me off in the right path. We had no idea that one day I'd become a rocker.

I remember she had a tape box with "I love New Wave!" written on the side. I decided to kick off this mix with none other than The Cure. Happy Birthday, Kweiky. I love you!!

Enjoy.

1. "Fascination Street" - The Cure
2. "Come Undone" - Duran Duran
3. "With Or Without You" -U2
4. "Mediate" - INXS
5. "Regret" - New Order
6. "Break It Down Again" - Tears for Fears
7. "Walk Like An Egyptian" - The Bangles
8. "Personal Jesus" - Depeche Mode
9. "6 Underground" - Sneakerpimps
10. "Linger" - Cranberries
11. "Bizarre Love Triangle" - Frente

It starts out with techno, then moves on to disco, until it starts to get funky halfway through and then it gets REALLY funky towards the end. So forgive me if the transition is a little odd. Just sit back and let it brew.

Track Listing:
1. Sound of Silver--LCD Soundsystem
2. Drop--Cornelius
3. You Bet Your Love--Herbie Hancock
4. It's Just Begun--Jimmy Castor Bunch
5. Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'--Michael Jackson
6. Give It To Me Baby--Rick James
7. Young Boy--Clipse
8. Bold Soul Sister--Ike & Tina Turner
9. Mr. Big Stuff--Jean Knight
10. I Don't Know What It Is, But It Sure Is Funky--The Ripple
11. Hot Pants, Pt.1--James Brown
12. Crystal Illusion--Creations Unlimited
13. The Devil Made Me Do It--Curtis Knight
14. Give Up the Funk (Tear the Roof Off the Sucker)--Parliament
